The Avant lawn edger with weed brush is a versatile attachment designed to perform lawn edging and weed removal simultaneously. It is particularly suitable for cleaning pavement edges between paving stones and lawns, but can also be used along asphalt, flagstones and paved surfaces.
The attachment is equipped with a 460 mm diameter cutting disc and a 700 mm diameter heavy-duty twisted-wire weed brush. The cutting disc can be raised when only the weed brush is required. An adjustable and removable mudguard and a foldable support wheel are also fitted as standard to facilitate operation.
The working width can be manually adjusted by up to 180 mm, as can the distance between the cutting disc and the brush. The brush angle can also be adjusted manually, while a spring-loaded system keeps the cutting disc parallel to the direction of travel. The lawn edger can be mounted on either the right or left side of the Avant loader, or positioned forwards for transport. This design provides a practical solution for precise edge maintenance and efficient weed removal in a single operation.
