Do you have extensive technical experience and the drive to help build something new? Marchandise SA is expanding its after-sales service operations in Luxembourg and is looking for an experienced technician to play an active role in this new stage of our development. Your role will therefore go beyond repairing machinery: you will contribute to the launch and development of our after-sales service operations in Luxembourg, gradually becoming a trusted local technical contact for our customers. In the field, you will put your expertise to work for our customers: analysing faults, carrying out accurate diagnostics, providing effective repairs and helping ensure they receive a responsive, reliable and high-quality service. To support you in your role, you will be able to rely on our technical teams, workshop and parts department based in Engis.

🔧 What we expect from you

• You diagnose and repair construction equipment.
• You work directly at our customers’ premises and on their job sites throughout Luxembourg and, when required, in our workshop.
• You identify the root causes of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• You read and interpret complex hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
• You carry out servicing and maintenance and ensure machines are returned to full working order.
• You perform the necessary tests, inspections and adjustments after each intervention.
• You work on machines from leading manufacturers in their respective sectors.
• You collaborate with our workshop, parts department and technical team to find the right solutions.
• You continuously develop your expertise through technical training.

Your journey will begin with an induction and training period at our Engis site, where you will become familiar with our machines, working methods and team. You will then progress into a field service technician role in Luxembourg, where you will actively contribute to the development of our after-sales service operations, strengthening our local presence and enhancing the quality of service we provide to our customers.

• You have solid experience as a technician working on construction equipment, earthmoving machinery, material handling equipment or similar machinery.
• You have strong expertise in hydraulics and electrical systems.
• You are comfortable with complex technical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• You are thorough, methodical and reliable.
• You have strong technical reasoning skills and are able to work independently.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and sharing your knowledge with others.
• And above all, you enjoy understanding why a machine is no longer working and finding the right solution.
