Are you comfortable handling complex diagnostics and keen to understand the root cause of a fault before taking action? At Marchandise Montzen, we are looking for an experienced technician to strengthen our technical team and bring their expertise to the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of construction equipment.

Your role goes beyond simply replacing parts: you analyse faults, carry out diagnostics and identify the right solution to get machines back up and running in optimal condition.

What we expect from you

• You diagnose and repair construction equipment.
• You carry out repairs both in our workshop and directly on job sites.
• You identify the root cause of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• You read and interpret complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• You perform servicing, maintenance and recommissioning of machines.
• You carry out the necessary tests, inspections and adjustments after each intervention.
• You work on machines from leading manufacturers in their respective sectors.
• You collaborate with the workshop, parts department and technical support team to find the right solutions.
• You continuously develop your expertise through technical training.

What we are looking for

• You have solid experience as a technician working on construction equipment, heavy machinery, material handling equipment or similar machinery.
• You have strong expertise in hydraulics and electrical systems.
• You are comfortable with complex technical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• You are thorough, methodical and reliable.
• You have strong technical problem-solving skills and are able to work independently.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and sharing your knowledge with others.
• And above all, you enjoy understanding why a machine is no longer working and finding the right solution.
